Mobi Lock silicone nose vents, 8 pack - the $10 way to try nasal dilators
Mobi Lock's nose vents are soft silicone dilators that sit inside your nostrils to widen them. The pack has eight vents in four sizes and two styles, plus a storage case, for about $10 on Amazon. They average 3.6 stars from roughly 6,800 ratings.
Why a mixed pack
Internal dilators only work if they fit, and there's no way to know your size before you try. A mixed pack lets you test sizes and shapes for the price of a single branded dilator. There are no adjustable arms like Rhinomed's Mute, so you're relying on one of the fixed sizes suiting your nose.
The listing suggests easing in. Wear one for up to 30 minutes before bed for the first few days, and don't push it past the point of slight resistance. Move to full nights once it feels normal. If it's uncomfortable, take it out and try again the next night or try another size. The vents are reusable if you wash them.
Who it's for
- Nasal snorers curious about internal dilators who don't want to spend $20 or more to find out
- People who can't use adhesive strips
- A spare set for travel, since they come with a case
Who should skip it
People who already know they can't stand anything inside the nostril. Skip it too if your snoring comes from the throat or an open mouth, because widening the nostrils won't change that. Our nasal strips vs chin straps vs mouth tape comparison explains how to tell.
The split rating comes down to fit: some buyers find a size that works, others can't keep any of them in. And as with any snoring aid, see a doctor if you stop breathing or gasp in your sleep, or if you're very tired during the day. That can be sleep apnea.
Alternatives
If the vents help but the fit isn't quite right, the adjustable Mute nasal dilator is the upgrade. If internal dilators aren't for you, Breathe Right Original strips work from the outside. See our best nasal strips for snoring and best anti-snoring devices guides for the full picture.
