What you get
Two rolls of self-adhesive chalkboard vinyl, each 18 inches wide and 6.6 feet long, plus five chalks per roll. That's roughly 20 square feet in total. Enough to cover a strip of wall at kid height, the inside of a pantry door, or cut into a few dozen labels for jars and storage bins. A grid printed on the backing makes straight cuts and shapes easier.
The surface has a frosted finish that takes regular stick chalk. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth rather than a dry eraser.
Will it damage my wall?
TAKSDAI says the vinyl sticks to smooth surfaces, is water resistant, and peels off without leaving residue. It also recommends a pre-test, and that's worth doing. How any peel-and-stick product behaves depends on the surface. Smooth, fully cured paint usually does best. Textured walls, flat matte paint and freshly painted walls may not hold the adhesive, and removal can lift paint. Try a small piece somewhere hidden and leave it for a few days before covering a big area, especially in a rental.
It isn't magnetic
