DEKKETO swivel cuddle chair with footstool - adult snuggle chair set
The DEKKETO is a barrel-shaped swivel chair with a matching footstool, four cushions, and chenille fabric. 360-degree swivel on a metal base. The footstool has hidden storage inside. Assembles in about 10 minutes. 31 reviews at 4.2 stars. It's one of the cheaper adult snuggle chairs that actually includes a footstool.
The swivel
Sits on a metal base and rotates 360 degrees. Useful in living rooms where the TV isn't in the same direction as the person you're talking to. Also useful for getting in and out without moving the whole chair. The mechanism is smooth when new. Whether it stays smooth after a year of daily use is the kind of thing 31 reviews can't answer reliably.
Our best snuggle chairs guide compares swivel and fixed options across different budgets.
The footstool
Matching chenille footstool with a lift-off lid and storage compartment inside. Blankets, remotes, magazines. It's not massive but it's a nice touch. Most snuggle chairs at this price don't include a footstool at all, let alone one with storage.
Comfort
U-shaped curved backrest wraps around you. 16cm high-density foam cushions. Four extra pillows for back and arm support. The barrel design is what gives it the snuggle feel. You sink into it rather than sit on it. Our snuggle chair for reading guide covers what makes a chair comfortable for long reading sessions.
Fabric
Chenille with removable cushion covers for washing. Soft to the touch. Not the most hardwearing fabric for houses with dogs or cats. If you have pets, our pet-friendly snuggle chair guide has options in more durable materials.
Size
It's big. Barrel chairs take up more floor space than they look in photos because of the circular footprint. Measure your space before ordering. You need clearance for the swivel too. For smaller rooms, our snuggle chair for small spaces guide has compact options.
Price
Under £300 including the footstool and four pillows. Our snuggle chair under £300 guide compares what's available at this budget.
