The best cuddle chair under £300 is the INMOZATA Swivel Cuddle Chair with Footstool, about £170 when we checked. You get an 85cm-wide swivel chair, a matching footstool, three cushions and a cup holder. If you want the most room for the least money, the Yaheetech Oversized Armchair is 102.5cm wide for about £113, though it doesn't swivel.
Cuddle chairs on Amazon UK start under £70 and run past £400. Most buyers want to know two things: what's the least I can spend and still get something comfortable, and does spending more make a real difference?
Short answer: the value flattens out around £200. Below that, each step up buys something you can see, such as a swivel, a footstool or velvet. Above £300, you're paying high-street prices without being able to sit in the chair first.
One change since spring: the sub-£100 swivel cuddle chair we used to recommend has sold out, and we found no in-stock replacement with a decent review history. The cheapest picks below start at about £113.

Best under £120: Yaheetech Oversized Armchair
Price: about £112.99
The Yaheetech gets the budget right by going wide instead of adding a swivel. It's 102.5cm across, 75cm deep and 85.5cm high, wider than any swivel chair under £300 on this page, so you can curl up sideways or share it with a child. Amazon was selling it directly at £119.99 in September.
It's built like a small sofa: high-resiliency foam over six sinuous springs in the seat, a fibre-filled back, and two lumbar pillows. Each arm has a 38 x 25cm storage pocket for the remote or a book. It's rated to 136kg.
The trade-offs: no swivel, a plain greige fabric, and 22kg to carry upstairs. At 4.0 stars from about 95 reviews, it rates lower than the other chairs here.
Pros: 102.5cm wide. Sprung seat. Arm pockets. 136kg rating. Cons: No swivel. Plain look. 4.0-star rating.
Best swivel under £150: TILLY Patchwork Swivel Cuddle Chair
Price: about £119.99
The TILLY is the cheapest swivel we'd buy. It's made by Stunning Chairs, a UK company based in Cleethorpes with its own website and customer service. The chair turns a full 360 degrees and is covered in multicoloured patchwork velvet. The backrest slots in by hand, with no tools, and the foam seat cushion comes off for cleaning. It arrives in a 45 x 65 x 65cm box and weighs 15kg, so it goes up any staircase.
The limit is size. At 60cm wide, 62cm deep and 69cm high, it's a compact tub chair sold as a cuddle chair. You'll sit in it comfortably, but you won't curl up in it. For a bedroom corner or a small room where you want some colour, it works. For a main living-room lounging chair, you need something wider.
It has 4.9 stars, but from only 15 reviews.
Pros: Cheapest swivel here. UK brand. Tool-free assembly. Small box. Cons: 60cm wide: not a curl-up chair. Velvet shows marks. Few reviews so far.
Best complete set under £200: INMOZATA Swivel Cuddle Chair with Footstool
Price: about £169.99
For about £170 you get an 85cm-wide swivel chair, a matching footstool, three cushions and a cup holder in the arm. No other chair on this page includes as much, and it costs less than the Stunning Chairs velvet model without a footstool. The fabric is jumbo cord, which wears well and hides small marks better than velvet. The swivel sits on a metal base and the chair is rated to 150kg.
The trade-off is track record. INMOZATA was founded in 2022, and this set had just 6 Amazon UK reviews averaging 3.7 stars when we checked. The price has also moved: it was £199.99 for most of September.
Pros: Chair, footstool, cushions and cup holder for under £200. 85cm wide. 150kg rating. Hard-wearing cord. Cons: Very few reviews. Young brand. Cord picks up pet hair. The footstool takes up floor space.
Best velvet under £200: Stunning Chairs Velvet Swivel Cuddle Chair
Price: about £199.99
This is for buyers who want the chair to look expensive. It's the larger Stunning Chairs model: crushed velvet, a curved backrest, matching cushions and a hidden 360-degree swivel base. Assembly is tool-free and the seat cushion comes off for cleaning, which velvet needs.
It doesn't include a footstool, and at about £200 it costs more than the INMOZATA set, which does. If you want the stool in the box, see our cuddle chair with footstool guide. It's 88cm wide and 87cm deep. Velvet shows fingerprints and pet hair, and some reviewers find the seat firm at first.
Pros: Looks far more expensive than it is. UK brand. Tool-free assembly. Several colours. Cons: No footstool. Velvet needs regular care.
Is a more expensive cuddle chair worth it?
The next step up on Amazon is the DEKKETO chenille swivel set at about £470, with a wraparound back and a storage footstool. It's a nice chair, but you're paying more than double the INMOZATA's price for a different fabric and shape.
At that price, visit a Dunelm, DFS or Furniture Village and sit in their cuddle chairs. Dunelm's range mostly sits around £400. You get a showroom to take a chair back to, and you know how it feels before it arrives. Amazon returns are possible, but sending back a boxed chair is a chore.
For the full range, see the best cuddle chairs guide. If velvet is the priority, the velvet cuddle chair guide compares the velvet options.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much should I pay for a cuddle chair?
On Amazon UK, about £110 to £120 gets a wide fixed armchair or a compact swivel. Around £170 gets a wide swivel cuddle chair with a matching footstool. Around £200 buys velvet from a UK brand. Above £300 you are competing with high-street shops like Dunelm, whose cuddle chairs mostly cost around £400 but let you sit in them before you buy.
Can you get a good swivel cuddle chair under £100?
Not at the moment. In October 2026 we found no in-stock swivel cuddle chair on Amazon UK under £100 with a decent review history. The cheapest well-reviewed swivel was the compact TILLY Patchwork at about £120, and it is 60cm wide, a tub chair rather than a curl-up chair. If width matters more than swivel, the Yaheetech Oversized Armchair is 102.5cm wide for about £113.
Is it worth spending more than £200 on a cuddle chair?
On Amazon, rarely. The INMOZATA set at about £170 already includes a swivel, a footstool and an 85cm-wide seat. Spending more mostly buys a different fabric or shape, such as the DEKKETO chenille set at about £470. At that price, high-street retailers offer chairs you can try first, with showrooms to take them back to.
